Second ship for transporting metal products arrived at Mariupol port

The ship will take a cargo of metal, a port representative said

MARIUPOL, June 4. /TASS/. A second ship for transporting metal products arrived at the Mariupol port, a port representative told TASS on Saturday.

"The ship has arrived. It’s at the port," he said. The ship will take a cargo of metal, he said.

It was reported before that earlier Russian customs officers placed metal products from the first ship that arrived from Mariupol for temporary storage in Rostov-on-Don. TASS was told by the Rostov Port that on June 3, 2022, a ship delivered coils of sheet metal from Mariupol to Rostov-on-Don.

On May 20, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Igor Konashenkov said that the Russian troops had liberated the Azovstal plant, where the remnants of the Ukrainian grouping in Mariupol had been holed up. The city is incrementally returning to peaceful life: The operation of public transport has been resumed on some routes, the territory of the city is being cleaned, public utilities companies are working to restore water and power supply.
