Russian premier tasks minister with signing deal with Zimbabwe on diamonds, platinum
A similar document was issued "on cooperation with regard to platinum group metals"
MOSCOW, June 1. /TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has signed decrees regarding memorandums on cooperation with Zimbabwe over diamonds and platinum group metals, according to documents published by Russia’s official internet portal of legislative information on Tuesday.
The premier’s decree resolves to "accept the Russian Natural Resources Ministry’s proposal, coordinated with the Russian Foreign Ministry and other related federal bodies of executive power and discussed with the Zimbabwean side, about signing a memorandum of understanding between the government of the Russian Federation and the government of the Republic of Zimbabwe on cooperation with regard to natural diamonds."
A similar document was issued "on cooperation with regard to platinum group metals."
The minister tasked Russian Natural Resources Minister Alexander Kozlov to sign the above-mentioned memorandums on behalf of the Russian government.
