RusHydro Q1 net profit falls by 3.1% to $308.72 mln
The company’s revenue in the reporting period increased by 5.5% to 117.58 bln rubles ($1.83 bln)
MOSCOW, May 31. /TASS/. Generating company RusHydro net profit under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in January - March 2022 reached 19.8 bln rubles ($308.72 mln), which is 3.1% lower than the figure for the same period last year, the company reported on Monday.
The company’s revenue in the reporting period increased by 5.5% to 117.58 bln rubles ($1.83 bln).
At the same time, EBITDA increased by 1.9% year-on-year to 35.58 bln rubles ($554.46 mln), while EBITDA margin rose by 0.8 percentage points to 27.4%.
Operating profit of RusHydro slightly increased and amounted to 25.5 bln rubles ($398.09 mln), while profit before taxes decreased by 2.7% to 25.73 bln rubles ($401.68 mln).
RusHydro unites over 400 generation facilities. The installed capacity of the power plants that are part of RusHydro reaches 38 GW. The largest shareholders of RusHydro are the Russian Federation (61.7%) and VTB Bank (12.95%).
