Russian economy will adapt to new situation, Putin says
Moscow and Minsk have already completed more than a third of integration plans intended until the end of 2023, the Russian leader said
VOSTOCHNY LAUNCH SITE, April 12. /TASS/. The Russian economy will definitely get accustomed to the new situation in conditions of sanctions, Russian President Vladimir Putin said after talks with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko.
"The economy will definitely adapt to the new situation. This is inevitable," the head of state said.
Moscow and Minsk have already completed more than a third of integration plans intended until the end of 2023, the Russian leader said, citing the banking sphere as an example, where "approaches were determined to forming the common monetary policy, currency regulation, and integration of national payment systems."
"The agreement on harmonization of customs laws was signed. Issues are considered to launch an interstate center of financial risks management; integrated systems of indirect taxes administration are being created," Putin added.
