Google cites sanctions as reason for blocking Russian State Duma’s YouTube channel

According to earlier reports, Google blocked the State Duma’s YouTube channel dubbed Duma TV

MOSCOW, April 9. /TASS/. Google blocked the official YouTube channel of Russia’s State Duma (the lower house of parliament) based on sanctions against Moscow, a company spokesperson told TASS.

"Google complies with all the applicable laws on sanctions and trade rules. If we find out that an account violates our terms of service, we will take appropriate action," the spokesperson noted.

According to earlier reports, Google blocked the State Duma’s YouTube channel dubbed Duma TV.
