MOSCOW, April 7. /TASS/. There will be no budget surplus in the Russian Federation in 2022 and all the incomes received will be spent, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said in the State Duma on Thursday.
"Please understand, the government will have no special capabilities whatsoever. The zero surplus is provided with us. There will be no ‘war chests,’ we will spend everything we will take from the economy," Mishustin said.
According to the budget law for 2022, federal revenues were planned to be about 25 trillion rubles ($315 bln). Expenses were provided at the level of 23.7 trillion rubles ($298.5 bln), with the projected surplus of 1.33 trillion rubles ($16.8 bln) or 1.1% of GDP.
