Fertilizers are in short supply now — Putin
The systemic task is the reliable supply of fertilizers to Russian agricultural producers, the Russian President noted
NOVO-OGAREVO, April 5. /TASS/. Fertilizers are in tight supply at present and will be purchased overseas in any case, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday at the meeting on support of the agro-industrial sector.
"We have no desire to inflict damage on anyone, certainly not. There is a need to attentively sort out everything now: logistics and insurers. They (fertilizers - TASS) are in short supply now, short-supplied goods will be taken," the head of state said. "We need to attentively look at all these problems and solve them on the basis of our own interests in the first instance," Putin noted.
"The systemic task is the reliable supply of fertilizers to our agricultural producers. The Ministry of Industry, the government on the whole should keep an eye on this situation," Putin said. "Needs of our agricultural producers must be the priority, on top," he added.
