Another Instagram substitute unveiled in Russia

The application was developed by ex-Yandex employee Dmitry Marinin

MOSCOW, March 29. /TASS/. The Now application, an analog of Instagram (banned in Russia and owned by Meta recognized in Russia as an extremist organization), goes live in Russia, the official Telegram channel of the application says.

"Over 10,000 users have been registered in Now over 7 hours. The peak was 2,000 requests per second, we coped with the load. We appreciate your warm words and support," the Telegram channel says.

The application was developed by ex-Yandex employee Dmitry Marinin.

Rossgram has earlier unveiled the pilot version of the Russia’s analog of Instagram with the newsfeed and videos uploading.
