NEW DELHI, March 18. /TASS/. Russia and India continue cooperating in production of the Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine in India, Russian Ambassador in New Delhi Denis Alipov told reporters on Friday.

"Cooperation continues. This is one of the most successful and promising vaccines in use/ Certainly, it is not alone here; the Indians have their own ones, but this area of interaction is one of the most promising and it should be definitely continued and ramped up," the diplomat said.

Huge prospects in Russia are being opened for Indian producers amid unilateral sanctions introduced by the West, the Ambassador added.
