MOSCOW, March 18. /TASS/. Russia is interested in expanding cooperation with India on hydrocarbon supplies, Russia’s Ambassador to New Delhi Denis Alipov said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 TV channel.
"Indians are interested in supplies of Russian oil and hydrocarbons. We are interested in expanding cooperation in this area. I think that good prospects are opening up here and this cooperation will be intensified," he said.
Alipov also noted that Moscow and New Delhi are cooperating on the settlement in national currencies.
"We are intensively cooperating with the Indian side on this issue. The ruble-rupee settlement mechanism already exists and is being used. At the current stage it is necessary to expand its application," the diplomat added.
