Under the executive order, the importation into the United States of the following products of Russian Federation origin: crude oil; petroleum; petroleum fuels, oils, and products of their distillation; liquefied natural gas; coal; and coal products are prohibited
WASHINGTON, March 8. /TASS/. US President Joe Biden signed an executive order on Tuesday to ban imports of Russian energy resources and new investments in Russia’s energy sector, according to the document published by the White House.
The executive order says that the president "hereby expand the scope of the national emergency declared in Executive Order 14024 of April 15, 2021."
Under the executive order, "the importation into the United States of the following products of Russian Federation origin: crude oil; petroleum; petroleum fuels, oils, and products of their distillation; liquefied natural gas; coal; and coal products" are prohibited.
