Hainan’s Phoenix Airport commended for service quality in the PRC
The airport is rated AA, second only to AAA in the national credit system
SANYA /China/, December 22. /TASS/. Sanya Phoenix International Airport in China's Hainan province has received one of the highest grades in the national credit rating system for customer satisfaction. This was reported by the local newspaper Sanya Zhibao.
This year, Phoenix Airport is rated AA, second only to AAA in the national credit system.
In order to improve its service quality, Phoenix Airport has streamlined its baggage transportation process this year. The airport also added a special service to help seniors who find it difficult to use airport technology.
When it comes to coronavirus prevention and control measures, Sanya’s airport regularly uses a body temperature monitoring system as well as intelligent disinfecting robots.
The PRC's ten-level grading system for enterprises includes categories A, B, C and D, where A is the highest grade and D is the lowest. Categories A, B and C are subdivided into three subcategories, such as triple, double or single A.
According to official statistics, Phoenix Airport served 15.41 million passengers and more than 108,000 flights in 2020 and transported 178,000 tons of mail cargo. Airports Council International (ACI) recognized it as the best in Asia in 2019 among airports handling between 15 and 25 million passengers per year.
