SHANGHAI, October 15. /TASS/. China has commissioned the country’s first smart oil platform located in the Bohai Sea, China Central Television reports on Friday.

The platform’s control system is provided with such technologies as cloud computing, big databases, artificial intelligence, 5G communications, and Beidou satellite navigation. These technologies are used together for the activation of production processes at the facility named Smart Field Qinhuangdao 32-6.

The platform is also fitted with a smart safety system using artificial intelligence technology.
