Tatarstan presents Innopolis and IT-park at Expo 2020 in Dubai
The Russia Pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai has a theme "Creative mind: Driving the Future"
KAZAN, October 1. /TASS/. Tatarstan presented its exposition at the opening of the Russia Pavilion at Expo-2020 in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai), said the press service of the President of Tatarstan.
"Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the grand opening of the Russia Pavilion at Expo 2020. The theme of the pavilion is Creative Mind: Driving the Future. Tatarstan's exposition opens the Russian week," the press service said.
Tatarstan during ten days will present the achievements of the republic in the field of information technology: there will be a presentation of Innopolis, IT-park. In addition, export-oriented industrial enterprises will be presented at the discussions, a presentation of tourism, medical, educational, and cultural potential will take place.
"Tatarstan is an advanced Russian region, occupying a leading position in terms of economic development. In terms of gross regional product, the republic ranks sixth among the constituent entities of Russia. For three years in a row, the republic has been ranked second after Moscow in the National Rating of the Investment Climate in the Constituent Entities of Russia," the press service quoted President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov as saying at the opening of the exhibition.
Russia was represented at the opening ceremony by Deputy Minister of Industry Alexei Gruzdev, Russian Ambassador to the UAE Sergey Kuznetsov, Russian Consul in Dubai Oleg Fomin and others.

The main message of the exhibition is that Russia is open, innovative, creative and can make a significant contribution to global development.
