Russia to increase number of flights to Europe, Lebanon, Ethiopia from July 24

MOSCOW, July 14. /TASS/. Russia is to increase the number of regular flights to Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Hungary, Greece, Lebanon, Croatia and Ethiopia from July 24, an official with the federal operational headquarters for the fight against coronavirus told reporters on Wednesday.

In particular, the national airlines will make two flights a week to Austria on the St. Petersburg - Vienna route, seven flights a week to Bulgaria, from St. Petersburg to Sofia and Varna, as well as four flights from St. Petersburg to Burgas, and one flight from Yekaterinburg to Burgas.

The number of flights from Moscow to Budapest (Hungary) will grow to four per week, from St. Petersburg to Budapest - to two per week. The number of flights from Moscow to the Greek Thessaloniki and Heraklion will be increased to 7 per week, and from Moscow to Beirut (Lebanon) - to three per week.

There will be three flights a week to Croatia on the Moscow-Zagreb route and five on the Moscow-Split and Moscow-Dubrovnik routes. The number of flights from Moscow to Addis Ababa will grow to four per week.

In addition, the headquarters made a decision to resume flights from the international airports of Arkhangelsk, Novokuznetsk, and Orsk to foreign countries from July 24.

"The operational headquarters recommends that citizens be vaccinated before flying to foreign countries to get protection against a new coronavirus infection," the headquarters said.
