St. Petersburg Exchange to start trading from 05.00 am

It is the largest platform for organized trading of securities of international companies in Russia

MOSCOW, June 23. /TASS/. The St. Petersburg Exchange is eyeing an opportunity of starting five-day trading for 21 hours per day, President of NP RTS, the majority shareholder of the Exchange, Roman Goryunov said on Wednesday.

The Exchange is currently trading from 07.00 am to 02.00 am Moscow time. The platform is considering an option to start trading at 05.00 am, Goryunov said.

The St. Petersburg Exchange is the largest platform for organized trading of securities of international companies in Russia. Over 1,600 securities of foreign issuers, including stocks, depositary receipts and Eurobonds, are currently circulated in organized trading on the Exchange.
