Russia, Israel to promote economic ties — Kremlin

Readiness was expressed to hold the next meeting of the intergovernmental commission soon, according to the Kremlin’s press service
MOSCOW, May 7. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu expressed readiness to boost trade and economic cooperation between the two countries in their telephone conversation on Friday, the Kremlin’s press service said.
"Certain current issues of bilateral cooperation were considered. In particular, readiness was expressed to promote trade and economic interaction and hold the next meeting of the intergovernmental commission soon," the press service said.
Leaders of Russia and Israel "agreed to continue the dialogue between the security councils as well as defense, foreign policy and economic authorities," the press service added.
