Guatemala registers Sputnik V vaccine

Guatemala has become the third Central American state where the Sputnik V vaccine is registered, according to the chief executive of the Russian Direct Investment Fund
MOSCOW, February 25. /TASS/. The Guatemala Ministry of Health registered the Russian coronavirus vaccine Sputnik V, the press service of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) said on Thursday.
"The vaccine was registered within the framework of the emergency use authorization (EUA) procedure. Guatemala has become the 37th country where the use of the Sputnik V vaccine is approved," RDIF said.
Guatemala has become the third Central American state where the Sputnik V vaccine is registered, chief executive of RDIF Kirill Dmitriev added.
The Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine is among the top three international coronavirus vaccines in terms of approvals received from government regulators.
