Honduras registers Russian Sputnik V vaccine
This is the 36th country to register the Russian jab
MOSCOW, February 24. /TASS/. The Health Regulation Agency of Honduras has registered the Russian coronavirus vaccine Sputnik V, the press service of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) said on Wednesday.
The vaccine was registered under the emergency use authorization (EUA) procedure.
"The Sputnik V is the vaccine for the whole mankind and its approval in 36 countries of the world underscores its major contribution to the global fight against the pandemic. Honduras joined ranks of certain Latin American states that approved the Sputnik V and we are ready to support partners to protect the population through one of the best vaccines across the globe," chief executive of RDIF Kirill Dmitriev said in a comment.
Honduras has become the 36th country to register the Russian jab.
