This is important from the standpoint of gas infrastructure development in regions and operations in this area should be expedited, the Russian Prime Minister said
MOSCOW, February 17. /TASS/. The Russian government has approved the action plan for development of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) market development for the next five years, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said on Wednesday at the Cabinet meeting.
"The government approved the roadmap of liquefied natural gas market development for five years to come," Mishustin said.
This is important from the standpoint of gas infrastructure development in regions and operations in this area should be expedited, the Prime Minister said. "We are called to boost LNG development and create infrastructure for autonomous gas connection in remote areas, including Siberia and the Far East, where pipeline networks laying is not always possible," he said.
LNG can also be successfully used at almost all kinds of transport, Mishustin added.
