Moscow court refuses to limit business activities of Austrian company CEO

The investigation may re-apply with a similar petition

MOSCOW, January 28. / TASS /. Moscow's Tverskoy Court refused to choose preventive measures in the form of a ban on certain business activities for the general director of the Austrian company Ecocom Oliver Kaiser, who is accused of illegal business practices, disposing of garbage in the Moscow region without a license, the court press service told TASS on Thursday.

According to the press service, the investigation may re-apply with a similar petition.

"On January 28, 2021, the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow issued a decision to leave without consideration and return to the investigator a petition for choosing a preventive measure in the form of a prohibition of certain business activities against Oliver Kaiser. The court also clarified that the return of the petition on this basis does not prevent from an additional petition against the accused in the form of a ban on certain business activities," said Olga Bondareva, press secretary of the court.
