MOSCOW, January 27. /TASS/. Sberbank is more often than all institutions in Europe exposed to hacker attacks, CEO of the bank Herman Gref said at the Federation Council.

"At the moment, we are the most attacked institution in Europe. Every day, artificial intelligence inside our cybersecurity center analyzes billions of events. During this entire time, we did not allow a single attack to penetrate our systems, we protect our citizens from hackers by 97%, even when citizens themselves make transfers to fraudsters without realizing it," he said.

Gref added that cybersecurity is a key trend right now and fraudsters almost always use artificial intelligence technologies in cyberattacks.

"The so-called deepfake technology, when your voice and your phone are used for fraudulent operations. This is all a gigantic threat, it is hard for a regular person to fight this, powerful systems of protection against such threats should help," he stressed.
