Putin signs law on 3-year multi-visa for residents of advance development territories
Those eligible for the visa will be foreign nationals and representatives and staff of foreign companies that made an employment agreement with an ADT resident of the Far East or Vladivostok Free Port for the purpose of investment program implementation
MOSCOW, April 7. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law simplifying the procedure and increasing to three years the period of a multi-entry working visa for foreign citizens acting as residents of the advance development territory (ADT) in the Far East and the Vladivostok Free Port. The relevant law was posted on the official web portal of legal information on Tuesday.
The multi-entry business visa will be issued for the period of up to three years to foreign nationals and representatives and employees of foreign companies that made an employment agreement with an ADT resident of the Far East or Vladivostok Free Port for the purpose of investment program implementation. At present the longest term for such a visa is 12 months.
Meanwhile the visa will be valid up to one year for negotiations on an investment agreement.
The law reduces to five days the period of review of the mentioned category of foreigners' visa application documents by a Russian diplomatic mission.
