Russian PM approves list of sectors most affected by coronavirus
The list contains nine sectors
MOSCOW, April 6. /TASS/. Russia’s government has approved a list of sectors that have been most affected by the novel coronavirus crisis. The list contains nine sectors, according to the government’s decree signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, which was released on Monday.
"The government of the Russian Federation determines: to approve the attached list of sectors of the Russian economy that have been most affected as the situation deteriorated as a result of the coronavirus infection spread," the document said.
The list contains aviation services, airport operations, road haulage; culture, leisure time and entertainment organization; health and fitness operations and sports; operations of travel agencies and other organizations providing tourism services; hotel industry; catering; operations of supplementary education organizations, non-state educational institutions; operations on conferences and exhibitions organization. The list also includes operations to provide consumer services, particularly, repairs, laundry, dry cleaning, hairdressing and beauty treatment services.
According to the latest data, more than 1,300,000 people have been infected with the coronavirus worldwide and nearly 70,000 deaths have been reported. In Russia, a total of 5,389 coronavirus cases have been confirmed so far, with 355 patients having recovered from the virus. The country’s latest data indicates 45 fatalities nationwide. Earlier, the Russian government set up an Internet hotline to keep the public updated on the coronavirus situation.
