Kremlin reveals how much Putin earned in 2018
Among Putin's official assets are two vintage Volga cars
MOSCOW, April 12. /TASS/. Russia’s President Vladimir Putin earned 8.7 mln rubles ($135,300) in 2018, down 10 mln rubles ($155,600) compared with 2017, according to the tax return posted on the Kremlin's official website.
The President’s average monthly income was about 720,000 rubles ($11,200) last year.
According to the tax return, the real property of the Russian President did not change over the year. Putin owns an apartment with the area of 77 square meters and a garage of 18 square meters. The head of state also uses an apartment with the area of 153.7 square-meters and a parking lot of 18 square meters. All the property declared by Putin is in Russia.
Among Putin's official assets are two vintage Volga GAZ M21 sedans as well as a Niva SUV and a Skif tent trailer.
The President’s income declined by 10 mln rubles ($155,600) because funds from sales of a land plot with the area of 1,500 square meters were accounted in the tax return for 2017.
