MOSCOW, March 22. /TASS/. Geopolitical risks remain high and many influence on the mood of investors into Russian assets and the currency rate, head of the Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina said on Friday.
"Risks related to geopolitical factors remain at a high level. Many sources of uncertainty in assessing global economy’s development prospects are still present. Investors’ mood may quickly change in such environment, which will be recognized in the yield of Federal Loan (OFZ) bonds and the currency rate," the official said.
High caution should be exercised with respect to the assessment of external conditions, she added.
