At least 60 projects promoting digital economy in Russian regions to be supported by 2022

MOSCOW, February 20. /TASS/. Projects on development of digital economy in Russian regions will be supported at the federal level as 20 such projects will be selected this year, while their number will rise to 40 by the end of 2020, and to at least 60 by 2022, according to the files to the national project ‘Digital Economy of Russian Federation’ through 2024 released on the government’s website on Wednesday.
At least 60 Russian projects "to transform priority sectors of the economy and social sphere and boost exports of high-tech products made using ‘cross-cutting’ digital technologies and commercializing Russian developments in the area of ‘cross-cutting’ digital technologies" should be supported by 2022, the document said.
