BRUSSELS, January 21. /TASS/. Amounts claimed under actions filed by Naftogaz of Ukraine against Gazprom are overstated, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak told reporters on Monday.

"In my opinion, these are overstated claims absolutely unrelated to real conditions," Novak said.

It was reported earlier today that Naftogaz is ready to reduce the amount of claims against Gazprom from $12 bln to $2 bln if the gas transit contract is signed for the period after 2020.
