Russian Helicopters hopes Mi-171A2, Ansat models to be in demand in Thailand
Deputy CEO of Russian Helicopters Dmitry Danilov noted positive response to the presentation of Russian civilian helicopters in Thailand
PATTAYA, November 26. /TASS/. The Russian Helicopters company has presented Mi-171A2 and Ansat civilian helicopters in Thailand on Monday, Deputy CEO Dmitry Danilov said.
"We initially flew to Vietnam and organized a similar presentation there. Then we visited Cambodia," Danilov told TASS. "Thailand is the third leg in our demo tour," he said. Two presentations are planned - for law enforcement agencies and civil aviation representatives, the top manager said.
Thailand has the largest number of presentation participants and "one of the most capacious markets," Danilov said. "We expect our civilian products will also be in demand here," he noted.
The military responded positively towards the demo program, Danilov said. "Clearly enforcement agencies are operators of not merely combat helicopters but also aircraft for special missions and operations, including search and rescue and medical ones. Therefore, I hope our civilian helicopters will find their use here," Danilov said.
