MOSCOW, August 12. /TASS/. Russia’s finance ministry sees no preconditions for another global economic crisis, Russian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov said on Sunday.
"If any changes occur in the global economy, they will inevitably tell on Russia. But now I see no grounds to speak about a global crisis," he said in an interview with the Voskresny Vecher (Sunday Evening) program on the Rossiya-1 television channel.
"However our task is to build an economy that will be little dependent on the turbulences shaking the global economy now and then," he said.
Many experts say the current situation on the developing markets resembles the one that was observed ahead of the global crisis in 1997-1998.
