Russian sappers demine in recaptured Aleppo districts more than 24 hectares
The explosive devices which could not have been extracted, were eliminated on the spot with use of special applied devices
MOSCOW, December 11. /TASS/. Servicemen of the international demining center, working in recaptured districts in Aleppo, by now have demined more than 24 hectares of the city territory, including 162 houses and eleven kilometers of roads, the Defense Ministry's press service said on Sunday.
"From explosive objects have been cleared fully and restored 22 facilities of the social infrastructures: schools, hospitals, electricity power stations, water pumping stations, bakeries, mosques. Servicemen of the demining center located and eliminated 1,340 explosive objects in the eastern districts of Aleppo, recaptured from the militants," the ministry said.
