Russian Caspian flotilla gets new commander

A presidential decree has appointed Rear Admiral Sergey Pinchuk to that position
MOSCOW, September 20. /TASS/. Rear Admiral Sergey Pinchuk has been appointed commander of the Caspian flotilla by a presidential decree, the defense ministry’s press service said on Tuesday.
"The former commander of the Caspian flotilla Igor Osipov has been appointed to a new position in the Pacific Fleet," the press service said.
Pinchuk, 45, was the commander of the Novorossiyskaya naval base of the Black Sea Fleet in 2011-2014.
