MOSCOW, July 17. /TASS/. Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy Vladimir Korolyov congratulated naval aviation with 100th anniversary, spokesperson of the Russian Navy Captain Igor Dygalo said on Sunday.
"Combat operations of the marine aviation were notable for unwavering resilience and courage, high combat activity and expertise," the Commander-in-Chief said in a congratulating telegram. "Traditions of naval veterans are kept and multiplied by the current generation of marine pilots," he added.
Russia’s Naval Aviation Day is held annually on July 17.
