MOSCOW, April 7. /TASS/. Russian servicemen tested high-speed military Internet and advanced communications systems during the anti-terrorist operation in Syria, the United Instrument-Manufacturing Corporation’s press office told TASS on Tuesday.
The United Instrument-Manufacturing Corporation, part of Russia’s state hi-tech corporation Rostec, is the developer of this technology.
"The work of advanced ground communications systems was tested in the real combat operation in Syria. In particular, Russian servicemen used R-169 and P-380K tactical systems that are digital means incorporating cutting-edge communications technologies," the press office said.
According to the press office, the systems allow units to operate in the single information field and ensure the work of the high-speed military Internet.
"The systems have been recognized as reliable and efficient. They meet the requirements of the modern armed forces," the press office added.
