Rostec denies possibility of Yakovlev company to go bankrupt
The aviation company functions steadily and continues implementing all its key projects, the state corporation said
MOSCOW, November 6. /TASS/. Talks on the possible bankruptcy of the Russian aviation company Yakovlev are groundless, the Rostec state corporation told TASS.
"No bankruptcy threatens Yakovlev company. Information about the bankruptcy threat for Yakovlev recently disseminated in mass media has nothing in common in reality. It functions steadily and continues implementing all its key projects, the state corporation said.
Yakovlev is creating MC-21 and Superjet passenger jets with import substitution, which are strategically important for the country, Rostec noted. "Any talks on the topic of the potential bankruptcy of the plant are absolutely groundless," the corporation added.
The Arbitration Court of Moscow earlier accepted a claim file by Izhstal company to recognize Yakovlev as bankrupt. The first court session on the claim is scheduled for January 18.
