MOSCOW, November 5. /TASS/. Russia’s Avanti Group will transfer 34 Lyagushka (Frog) ground robotic systems to the Voin (Warrior) Center for military-sports training and patriotic education for youth, where cadets will be able to master drone piloting skills, the center’s press service reported.

"The transferred systems will be used in the practical training of cadets under the Unmanned Systems Use program. Teenagers will be able to study the design of ground drones, learn how to operate them, and become familiar with the application of robotics in modern professions," the center noted.

The Lyagushka ground robotic systems donated to the Voin Center are domestically produced multifunctional unmanned platforms. They can perform various tasks, including transporting cargo in hard-to-reach areas and under challenging conditions. According to the Avanti Group, the system has a payload capacity of up to 50 kg, speed of up to 25 km/h, and a communication range of up to 10 km. Previously, such drones were used during the qualifying round of the Second All-Russian Military-Tactical Competition "The Warrior’s Path."

"At the Voin Center, we train children and young people to work with various unmanned systems - from aircraft to ground robotic systems and unmanned boats. The Avanti Group makes a significant contribution to this work, for instance, by supporting the development of a 36-hour educational program titled ‘Ground Robotic Systems Use.’ Expanding our fleet of ground-based drones will certainly provide a powerful boost to the development of sought-after skills," noted Andrey Savelyev, head of the center’s Unmanned Systems Use department.
