LUGANSK, November 3. /TASS/. The front line in the Liptsy sector of the Kharkov Region has become active, with intense fighting underway, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS.

"There is currently good momentum in the area of Novaya Kazachya, northwest of Goptovka. The so-called Liptsy sector is also beginning to see increased activity. I am being told that fairly intense fighting has broken out in this area," he said.

Marochko earlier told TASS that Russian forces had taken control of around three kilometers of a highway near Goptovka in the Kharkov Region over the previous weekend.
