Kalashnikov supplies batch of Skat-350 M drones to Russian Interior Ministry
The company CEO Alan Lushnikov expressed confidence that the Russian Interior Ministry will be just as satisfied with the UAV as the Defense Ministry
PATRIOT PARK (Moscow Region), November 2. /TASS/. The Kalashnikov Group has supplied a large batch of Skat-350 M unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to the Russian Interior Ministry’s Transport Directorate for the Central Federal District, the company CEO Alan Lushnikov said.
"We have just handed over a large batch of [Skat-350 M] drones to the Interior Ministry, specifically, to the Central Federal District Transport Police Department. This is the largest transport police unit in the country. And, generally speaking, the Skat-350 M is perfectly suited not only for combat missions but also for police operations," he told reporters.
Lushnikov expressed confidence that the Russian Interior Ministry will be just as satisfied with the UAV as the Defense Ministry.
The Skat-350 M unmanned aerial vehicle system is designed for reconnaissance and to support ground operations in harsh weather conditions across a wide temperature range. It is highly reliable and durable. The SKAT 350 M UAV can remain airborne for up to four hours, performing missions at altitudes ranging from 300 to 5,000 meters. It continues to carry out missions in the complete absence of a GPS signal, under conditions of severe GPS signal distortion, or during continuous spoofing attacks, covering a distance of at least 240 km per operational flight, according to Kalashnikov.
