MOSCOW, October 9. /TASS/. The order portfolio of Russia's state defense exporter Rosoboronexport (part of the Rostec State Corporation) has surpassed $65 billion, CEO Alexander Mikheev announced Friday during a meeting with Vladimir Gutenev, First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Engineering Union.

"Rosoboronexport’s order portfolio currently exceeds $65 billion, comprising over 800 active contracts to supply a wide range of military products to foreign partners," Mikheev said, as quoted by the company’s press service. "Furthermore, around 20 technological cooperation projects are underway, and more than 100 additional projects are being discussed with customers from countries friendly to Russia."

The CEO noted that 280 Russian defense enterprises are directly involved in executing these foreign trade contracts, with the total number exceeding tens of thousands when factoring in broader industrial cooperation.

"Dozens of enterprises in the Yaroslavl and Saratov regions are involved in fulfilling obligations to Rosoboronexport's foreign customers," Mikheev added. "They manufacture highly sought-after engines, naval hardware, communication systems, avionics, and space systems, as well as electronic components for finished platforms produced by Russia's defense holdings. All these products are highly competitive and technologically advanced."

In turn, Gutenev praised Rosoboronexport's contribution to developing Russia's defense industry and its manufacturing sector. He noted that the seamless execution of export contracts signed by the state intermediary for military, dual-use, and civilian products bolsters the growth of the country's technological sovereignty.
