VLADIVOSTOK, September 30. /TASS/. A detachment of Russian Navy ships has arrived on a business call at Indonesia’s port, the Pacific Fleet’s press service reported.

"The Pacific Fleet ships have arrived in the Republic of Indonesia on a business visit. The frigate Marshal Shaposhnikov has moored at the port of Jakarta. Russian sailors were greeted at the pier by representatives of the Indonesian Navy and the Russian Embassy staff. As part of the business call, Russian Navy sailors are scheduled to participate in official events and conferences to exchange experience with Indonesian Navy personnel, as well as take city tours, visit local attractions, and participate in sports events with Indonesian sailors," the statement said.

The press service noted that the Marshal Shaposhnikov frigate, the large anti-submarine ship Admiral Tributs, and the Pechenga tanker departed from Vladivostok on September 10 for the Asia-Pacific deployment.
