MOSCOW, September 29. /TASS/. Russian Deputy Defense Minister Vasily Osmakov has arrived in Mongolia on a working visit, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"During his working visit to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Vasily Osmakov held a bilateral meeting with Mongolian Deputy Defense Minister Major General Baasandamba Dashzeeden," the ministry said.

According to the ministry, Osmakov recalled that this year marks the 105th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Mongolia and the 115th anniversary of the establishment of the Mongolian Defense Ministry.

Earlier, a military delegation led by Russian Deputy Defense Minister Vasily Osmakov took part in a wreath-laying ceremony at the monument to Marshal of the Soviet Union Georgy Zhukov.
