MOSCOW, August 11. /TASS/. Drone operators of Russia’s Battlegroup South have destroyed a US-made Humvee armored vehicle in the Alekseyevo-Druzhkovka sector in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

"During combat operations in the Alekseyevo-Druzhkovka sector, drone operators of the Battlegroup South’s 6th Motorized Rifle Division detected a US-made HMMWV armored vehicle that had come to a stop with enemy personnel inside. After the target was identified, the coordinates were transmitted to the strike drone crew. As a result of a single precision strike, the enemy armored vehicle caught fire and its fuel detonated, destroying it," the ministry said in a statement.

The drone operators also destroyed a vehicle carrying two Ukrainian soldiers, an ammunition depot, an UAV control center, and five enemy ground robotic systems.
