KALININGRAD, August 7. /TASS/. Crews of Su-30SM2 multirole fighters of the Russian Baltic Fleet's naval aviation carried out missile and bomb strikes during an exercise near Kaliningrad, the Baltic Fleet press service reported.

"The pilots flew in a designated area, analyzed the ground situation, and also carried out precision bombing and missile launches at full-size targets simulating command posts, engineering fortifications, and enemy personnel and equipment using aerial bombs and unguided missiles," the statement reads.

The strikes were carried out both during daylight and at night. In addition, the pilots practiced complex aerobatic maneuvers as well as techniques for evading the simulated enemy’s air defense systems.

About 10 fighter crews participated in the exercise.
