Russian corvette, Indonesian frigate enter Sea of Japan for joint drills

According to the Russian Pacific Fleet, the two vessels will practice joint maneuvering, and firing at various targets

VLADIVOSTOK, July 29. /TASS/. The corvette Sovershenny of the Russian Pacific Fleet and the frigate Gusti Ngurah Rai of the Indonesian Navy have entered the Sea of Japan for the naval stage of a joint exercise, the Russian Pacific Fleet said in a statement.

"The corvette Sovershenny of the Russian Pacific Fleet and the frigate Gusti Ngurah Rai of the Indonesian Navy, bound from Vladivostok, have entered the Sea of Japan for the naval stage of the Russian-Indonesian naval maneuvers Orruda 2026," the statement reads.

According to it, the two vessels will practice joint maneuvering, and firing at various targets as they will also inspect and release a conditionally seized ship.
