MOSCOW, July 4. /TASS/. Russian servicemen established control over Shiykovka, Novy Mir, Cherneshchina, and Druzhelyubovka in the Kharkov Region over the past 24 hours, the Defense Ministry reported.

"Units of the Battlegroup West have taken up more advantageous lines and positions. As a result of their decisive actions, control has been established over Shiykovka, Novy Mir, Cherneshchina, and Druzhelyubovka in the Kharkov Region," the statement said.

Russian troops also liberated Vasilevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the ministry noted.

"Units of the Battlegroup Center have improved their tactical position and liberated the town of Vasilevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the report said.

According to the military, Ukraine has lost about 1,350 troops in the special military operation zone over the past 24 hours. According to the report, Russia’s battlegroup North wiped out more than 205 Ukrainian servicemen, the battlegroup West eliminated over 230 enemy troops, the battlegroup South wiped out up to 170 military, the battlegroup Center eliminated more than 310 servicemen, the battlegroup East destroyed over 375 troops, and the battlegroup Dnepr wiped out up to 60.

At the same time, Russian servicemen have struck Ukrainian armed forces’ fuel, energy, and transport infrastructure, as well as sites where long-range drones were manufactured and stored over the past 24 hours, the Defense Ministry reported.

"The Russian Armed Forces struck enemy fuel, energy, and transport infrastructure facilities, production and storage sites for long-range drones, as well as temporary deployment sites of Ukrainian servicemen and foreign mercenaries in 142 areas," the statement said.

In addition, Russian air defenses shot down 10 Flamingo cruise missiles and 893 Ukrainian drones over the past 24 hours. "Air defenses downed 16 guided air bombs, nine US-made HIMARS rockets, 10 long-range Flamingo cruise missiles, and 893 fixed-wing drones," the statement said.

The Defense Ministry emphasized that since the start of the special military operation, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 673 Ukrainian aircraft, 284 helicopters, 174,413 drones, 664 anti-aircraft missile systems, 30,018 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,752 multiple-launch rocket systems, 35,640 guns and mortars, and 65,629 specialized military vehicles.

As for the situation in Krasny Liman in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Russian servicemen are conducting demining and mopping-up operations there, the military emphasized. "Units of the 67th Motorized Rifle Division of the 25th Army are conducting demining and mopping-up operations in the DPR’s Krasny Liman," the statement said.

According to the ministry, over the past 24 hours, up to 20 Ukrainian servicemen, a US-made HMMWV armored vehicle, two pickup trucks, three remotely controlled robotic systems, and 11 drone control stations were destroyed.
