Ukrainian forces suffered heavy personnel losses in an attempt to demonstrate alleged gains in Konstantinovka, with about 13,500 troops eliminated, Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the Russian General Staff and First Deputy Chief of the General Staff Sergey Rudskoy said at a briefing.

"As a result of demonstrating fake gains, the Ukrainian armed forces once again suffered heavy losses. During the operation to liberate Konstantinovka, they lost about 13,500 Ukrainian servicemen, 14 tanks, 283 armored fighting vehicles, 1,400 motor vehicles, 200 field artillery pieces, and eight multiple rocket launchers," he said.
