The Sukhoi Su-35S fighter is deployed in a wide range of missions, including intercepting targets at long ranges, striking ground and surface targets, and conducting reconnaissance deep behind enemy lines, said a Su-35S pilot of the Russian Aerospace Forces, as quoted by Rostec.

"This equipment operates flawlessly, and the crew finds it comfortable to operate. We use this aircraft to perform various missions: intercepting air targets at long range, providing cover for strike groups and ground targets, destroying unmanned aerial vehicles, and delivering precision strikes against ground and surface targets with high precision. We also conduct reconnaissance and expose enemy positions at significant depths from the line of contact," he noted.

According to military analyst and head of the Center for Analysis of Strategies and Technologies Ruslan Pukhov, the aircraft’s overall performance surpasses that of all foreign fourth-generation fighters, including the Boeing F-15 and Lockheed Martin F-16, and also exceeds the fifth-generation F-22 Raptor in combat parameters.

On May 26, the Rostec State Corporation reported the delivery of a new batch of Su-35S fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces.
