MOSCOW, May 16. /TASS/. Russian assault units control 85% of Krasny Liman and over 50% of Shiykovka, Chief of Russia’s General Staff Army General Valery Gerasimov said during an inspection visit.

"Assault units of the 25th Army continue street fighting to liberate Krasny Liman. 85% of the city's territory is under our control. The destruction of Ukrainian formations in the territory of the 'Sviatyie Gory' National Park is underway. Street fighting continues in Shiykovka, where more than half of the village's territory is controlled by our assault units. The troops of the grouping are also successfully operating on the Boguslav and Rubtsovsk directions," he said.
