MOSCOW, May 16. /TASS/. The 20th Army of Battlegroup West, having completed the liberation of the Lugansk People's Republic, is advancing on a wide front west into the Kharkov Region, Chief of Russia’s General Staff Army General Valery Gerasimov said during an inspection visit.

"Units of the 6th Army are also developing an offensive in a western direction from Kupyansk, in the general direction of Shevchenkovo. Furthermore, the destruction of enemy formations in Svyatogorsk in the Donetsk People's Republic continues," he added.
