MOSCOW, May 8. /TASS/. The ceasefire announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin in honor of the Victory Day celebrations has started.

It will last until May 10.

Russia expects the Ukrainian side will follow its example, the Russian Ministry of Defense said earlier.
